Step 2
Search
Through our extensive global network, we search for remarkable vehicles and undiscovered treasures. Sometimes half decayed or hidden deep in the greenery, yet full of potential. With knowledge, context, and compelling historical facts, we make their significance visible. We show you that what seems lost can be brought back to life, that this piece of history truly matters, and that it fits your wishes perfectly.
Step 3
Orientation, calculation & timeline
As soon as the vehicle arrives, we map out everything. We examine in the smallest detail what is needed to turn the discovery into a historical showpiece. Based on this, we create a plan and timeline with the associated costs. We calculate contingencies, align everything with your wishes, and document it clearly. Only when you are fully convinced does the project officially begin. Until then, you only pay a start-up fee.
Step 4
Realization
BAIV does not work with years-long waiting lists or endless lead times. Thanks to our broad expertise, modern techniques, and state-of-the-art workshop, we rebuild the vehicle step by step within 12 to 14 months. Clear agreements, extensive visual documentation, and transparent communication ensure that you always know exactly where things stand.
Step 5
Transport
National and international transport can be arranged by us, both before and after delivery. We ensure proper deactivation of weapons and handle everything in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. For personal permit applications, we provide guidance where needed and possible. We think along with you and ensure that the vehicle is transported safely, fully documented, and in full compliance with all regulations.
Step 6
Delivery
The delivery is the celebratory finale of an intensive process and the start of a new chapter on wheels or tracks. We make the handover a special moment. We present your vehicle complete with documentation, driving and starting instructions, and a bundle of historical stories.
Step 7
Maintenance & Service
When we have restored your vehicle, you are always welcome to return for maintenance or servicing. From an oil change to fitting a new set of tracks; we know your machine inside out. That’s why we can work efficiently, precisely, and correctly.
Building new stories
Once your military vehicle is restored, the real adventure and experience begin. Hear the deep sound of the Continental radial engine starting up, smell the oil and petrol fumes, and feel the wind on your face as you stand with your head above the hatch while driving. After your vehicle has been restored with craftsmanship, skill, and gritt, the privilege is yours to build new stories and drive our collective history forward.
Licensed Arms & Weapons Dealer
BAIV is a licensed Arms & Weapons Dealer (Categories 2, 3 and 4). This allows BAIV to legally handle, store and deactivate weapons, armored vehicles and tanks in-house, ensuring efficient workflows, controlled deactivation and maximum preservation of authenticity. This status also allows BAIV to deactivate items for third parties, such as museums or Tracks & Trade purchases, before they are shipped, ensuring compliant and secure transport.
